A District Judge is appointed by the High Court after conducting the Written examination followed by an interview. For becoming a District Judge, one should have at least practiced as an Advocate under that High Court for a period not less than seven years. Certain High Courts have also fixed the Income criteria that the aspirant should have at least Income Tax Payee having so much of Income.
